Ignition Key Switch Test

Remove the steering column upper and lower covers (see COLUMN COVER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION ).
Disconnect the 6P connector (A).

Check for continuity between terminals in each switch position according to the table.

If the continuity is not as specified, the ignition key switch is faulty; replace the steering lock (see STEERING LOCK REPLACEMENT ).
