Audio Remote Switch Test

SRS components are located in this area. Review the SRS component location (see COMPONENT LOCATION INDEX ), and the precautions and procedures (see PRECAUTIONS AND PROCEDURES ) in the SRS section before doing repairs or service.

1. Remove the audio remote switch:
   • With HandsFreeLink system (see WITH HANDSFREELINK SYSTEM  ).
   • Without HandsFreeLink system (see WITHOUT HANDSFREELINK SYSTEM  ).

2. Measure the resistance between the terminals No. 6 and No. 12 in each switch position according to the table.

3. If the resistance is not as specified, replace the audio remote switch:
   • With HandsFreeLink system (see WITH HANDSFREELINK SYSTEM  ).
   • Without HandsFreeLink system (see WITHOUT HANDSFREELINK SYSTEM  ).
