DTC 1403: Audio Error 3 (2014-15)

NOTE: 

• First, check the Vehicle 12 volt battery condition .
• This navigation DTC sets when a mechanical malfunction in the multi-information display unit is detected.
• Before you troubleshoot, make sure to follow the General Troubleshooting Information - Refer to: How to Troubleshoot the Navigation System (2014-15) .
• Check any official Honda service website for more service information about the navigation system.

1. Problem verification

   -1. Check that the temperature is below 158 F (70 C) in the dash.

   - 2. Clear the hard error codes.

   - 3. Turn the vehicle to the OFF (LOCK) mode, and then back to ON mode.

   - 4. Check for hard error codes.

   Is DTC 1403 indicated?

   YES 

   Replace the multi-information display unit .

   NO 

   Intermittent failure, the system is OK at this time.
