DTC 1102: USB Diag (Display Audio) (2016-17)
NOTE:
- Check the vehicle battery condition first .
- This audio DTC sets when a problem is detected with the USB device that is connected to the USB port.
- Before you troubleshoot, make sure to follow the General Troubleshooting Information - Refer to: How to Troubleshoot the Audio System, or Audio System Self-Diagnostic Function (Without Navigation, Without Touch Screen), or Audio System Self-Diagnostic Function (Without Navigation, With Touch Screen), or How to Troubleshoot the Audio System (Display Audio) (2016-17) .
- Problem verification
-1. Clear the hard error codes.
- 2. Turn the vehicle to the OFF (LOCK) mode then the ON mode.
- 3. Connect the USB device to the USB port A or USB port B.
- 4. Check for hard error codes.
Is DTC 1102 indicated?
YES
The failure is duplicated, go to step 2.
NO
Intermittent failure, the system is OK at this time.
- Audio unit check
-1. Disconnect the USB device.
- 2. Clear the hard error codes.
- 3. Turn the vehicle to the OFF (LOCK) mode then the ON mode.
- 4. Connect a known-good USB device to the USB port A or USB port B.
- 5. Check for hard error codes.
Is DTC 1102 indicated?
YES
Replace the audio unit - Refer to: Audio Unit Removal and Installation (Without Touch Screen), or Audio Unit Removal and Installation (With Touch Screen), or Audio Unit Removal and Installation (Display Audio) (2016-17) .
NO
Original USB device is faulty.
