DTC 2705: HFL Diag
NOTE:
- Check the vehicle battery condition first .
- This navigation DTC sets when NG is indicated in the HFL diagnosis (the HFL icon is red in the System Link).
- Before you troubleshoot, make sure to follow the General Troubleshooting Information - Refer to: How to Troubleshoot the Navigation System, or How to Troubleshoot the Navigation System (Display Audio) (2016-17) .
- Check any official Honda service website for more service information about the navigation system.
- Check the connectors for poor connections or loose terminals.
- Problem verification
-1. Clear the hard error codes.
- 2. Press the engine start/stop button to select the OFF mode and then select the ON mode.
- 3. Check for hard error codes.
Is DTC 2705 indicated?
YES
The failure is duplicated, go to step 2.
NO
Intermittent failure, the system is OK at this time.
- HandsFreeLink system DTC check
-1. Select the HFL in the Unit Check menu, and check for HFL DTCs.
Is DTC B1792 indicated?
YES
Go to DTC B1792 troubleshooting .
NO
Go to step 3.
- HFL diagnosis check
-1. Select the HFL in the Unit Check menu, and check GA-NET status.
Is GA-NET OK indicated?
YES
Go to step 4.
NO
Refer to: HFL DOES NOT RESPOND (WITH NAVIGATION) (2013-15) or HFL DOES NOT RESPOND (DISPLAY AUDIO (WITH NAVIGATION)) (2016-17) .
- HandsFreeLink system DTC check
-1. Select the HFL in the Unit Check menu, and check for HFL DTCs.
Are there any HFL DTCs indicated?
YES
Go to indicated HFL DTC troubleshooting.
NO
Replace the audio-navigation unit.
