Audio Remote Switch Test: Test

1. Steering Wheel Trim - Remove

   Remove the steering wheel trim .

2. Audio Remote Switch - Test

   1. Measure the resistance between terminals No. 2 and No. 5 in each switch position according to the table.

   Position	Resistance
   No button pressed	About 10 kΩ
   SOURCE button pressed	About 3.7 kΩ
   RIGHT (CH +) button pressed	About 1.7 kΩ
   LEFT (CH -) button pressed	About 775 Ω
   + (VOL. UP) button pressed	About 357 Ω
   - (VOL. DOWN) button pressed	About 99 Ω

   2. Measure the resistance between terminals No. 3 and No. 5 in each switch position according to the table.

   Position	Resistance
   DISPLAY	About 33 Ω

   3. If the resistance is not as specified, replace the audio remote switch.

3. Steering Wheel Trim - Install

   Install the steering wheel trim .
