DTC 32-07: EPS Control Unit Internal Circuit (Current Sensor)

NOTE: BEFORE YOU TROUBLESHOOT, RECORD ALL FREEZE DATA AND ANY ON-BOARD SNAPSHOT, AND REVIEW THE HOW TO TROUBLESHOOT THE EPS .

DTC (EPS)

1. Problem verification

   - 1. Turn the vehicle to the ON mode.

   - 2. Clear the DTC with the HDS.

   - 3. Turn the vehicle to the OFF (LOCK) mode, then turn the vehicle to the READY TO DRIVE mode.

   - 4. Turn the steering wheel to the right and left at least 5 times.

   - 5. Check for DTCs with the HDS.

   DTC Description	DTC	Freeze Frame
   32-07: EPS Control Unit Internal Circuit (Current Sensor)

   Is DTC 32-07 indicated?

   YES 

   The failure is duplicated. Go to step 2.

   NO 

   Intermittent failure, the system is OK at this time.

2. EPS control unit check (update)

   - 1. Update the EPS control unit if it does not have the latest software.

   - 2. Turn the vehicle to the OFF mode, then turn the vehicle to the READY TO DRIVE mode.

   - 3. Turn the steering wheel to the right and left at least 5 times.

   - 4. Check for DTCs with the HDS.

   DTC Description	DTC	Freeze Frame
   32-07: EPS Control Unit Internal Circuit (Current Sensor)

   Is DTC 32-07 indicated?

   YES 

   REPLACE THE EPS CONTROL UNIT .

   NO 

   Troubleshooting is complete.
