Normal Operation and Fault Conditions
The Direct Current/Direct Current (DC/DC) Converter Control Module communicates with the diagnostic scan tool through the HS-CAN1.
Possible Sources
- Fuse
- Wiring, terminals and connectors
- Direct Current/Direct Current (DC/DC) Converter Control Module
Visual Inspection and Diagnostic Pre-checks
- Verify high current BJB MEGA fuse 8 (175A) and BCM fuse 14 (10A) is OK.
- Diagnose all Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) set in the BECM, PCM and SOBDMC first. Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) set in these modules can cause the vehicle to disable the DC/DC wakeup circuit, keeping the DC/DC converter control module disabled.
