Driver's Door Lock Switch Test

  1. Remove the power window master switch, and disconnect its connector (see POWER WINDOW MASTER SWITCH REPLACEMENT ).

  2. Check for continuity between the power window master switch 22P connector terminals.
    • There should be continuity between terminals No. 12 and No. 17 when the door lock switch is in the LOCK position.
    • There should be no continuity between the terminals No. 12 and No. 17 when the door lock switch is in the neutral or UNLOCK position.
    • There should be continuity between the terminals No. 12 and No. 19 when the door lock switch is in the UNLOCK position.
    • There should be no continuity between the terminals No. 12 and No. 19 when the door lock switch is in the neutral or LOCK position.
    • There should never be continuity between terminals No. 19 and No. 17 in any door lock switch position.
  3. If the continuity is not as specified, replace the power window master switch (see POWER WINDOW MASTER SWITCH REPLACEMENT ).
