GPS Detail

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2011 Honda Pilot, 2010 Honda Pilot, and 2009 Honda Pilot. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.

By pressing and holding the MENU button for 10 seconds, a GPS Detail screen appears. This screen displays real time incoming satellite positional data when the vehicle is outside in the open. The information shown on this screen is for factory use.

NOTE: The data shown is an example only.

The table of values shown below define the terms at the top of the columns in the GPS detail screen.

GPS DESCRIPTION TABLE

Column Description Problem indication
Active Active satellites (Yellow Dot) If 3D or 2D is missing when the vehicle is parked outside, do the GPS icon is white or not shown troubleshooting (see GPS ICON IS WHITE OR NOT SHOWN ON THE MAP SCREEN  ).
PRN The satellite ID number -
ST The status: 0 = cannot view or searching, 2 = acquiring If all 0, then, do the GPS icon is white or not shown troubleshooting (see GPS ICON IS WHITE OR NOT SHOWN ON THE MAP SCREEN ).
AZI Azimuth, the angle (0-360) clockwise from north -
EL Elevation from the horizon (90 deg is overhead) -
C/N Receiver sensitivity Healthy signal is 49-52, no signal: 27-33
ACC Satellite accuracy -
↑ 1/2 or 2/2 ↓ Shows view of all satellites in two screen views 1/2 or 2/2 -
