OPEN/CLOSE function of the display does not work

- Turn the ignition switch to LOCK (0).
- Disconnect the navigation display unit connector B (10P) and audio disc changer connector A (18P).
- Check for continuity between navigation display unit connector B (10P) terminal No. 10 and body ground.Fig 1: Checking Continuity Between Navigation Display Unit Connector B (10P) Terminal 10 And Body Ground

Is there continuity?
YES -Repair short in the wire between navigation display unit connector B (10P) terminal No. 10 and audio disc changer connector A (18P) terminal No. 4. ■
NO -Go to step 4.
- Substitute a known-good navigation display unit (see NAVIGATION DISPLAY UNIT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION ), and check to see if the display opens and closes normally.
Does the display work normally?
YES -Replace the navigation display unit (see NAVIGATION DISPLAY UNIT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION ). ■
NO -Replace the audio disc changer (see AUDIO DISC CHANGER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION ). ■
