Pinch Sensor Replacement

  1. Remove the tailgate trim panel (see TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION - TAILGATE AREA ).
  2. Disconnect the 2P connector (A) from the pinch sensor.
    NOTE: The graphic shows left side pinch sensor, right side is symmetrical.

  3. Remove the clips, screws, and bolts from the pinch sensor.
  4. Install in the reverse order of removal.
