Voice Control Switch Removal/Installation

SRS components are located in this area. Review the SRS component locations (see COMPONENT LOCATION INDEX ), and the precautions and procedures (see PRECAUTIONS AND PROCEDURES ) before doing repairs or service.

  1. Remove the driver's airbag assembly (see DRIVER'S AIRBAG REPLACEMENT ).
  2. Turn the steering wheel to right, then loosen the screw from the back to the steering wheel.

  3. Remove the screws (A) from the steering wheel.

  4. Disconnect the connectors, and remove the steering wheel trim (B).
  5. Remove the screws (A) and the HFL-navigation voice control switch (B).

  6. Remove the cover (C), screws (D) and set plate (E) from the HFL-navigation voice control switch.
  7. Install the HFL-navigation voice control switch in the reverse order of removal.
