Interface Dial Removal/Installation

  1. Remove the navigation switch panel and the center pocket (see NAVIGATION DISPLAY UNIT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION  ).
  2. Remove the screw and harness cover (A). Then disconnect the interface dial 13P connector (B).

  3. Remove the 4 screws (C), then remove the knob (D) and the dial (E) from the interface dial (F) with two KTC trim tools and applying even force as shown.
    NOTE: Apply pressure slowly and steady until the knob and dial pops off.
  4. Install the dial in reverse order of removal.
    NOTE: If the hard buttons do not work, but the jog dial does, recheck the interface dial connector connection.
