    NOTE:
    1. Connect Hi-Scan (Pro) to the Data Link Connector (DLC).
    2. Select the DTC function of Hi-Scan (Pro).
    3. Start the engine and let the engine at idle for 30 seconds or 120 seconds as mentioned in table above respectively.
    4. The given time in above table is the required time after starting the engine with warmed-up vehicle.
  2. SHORT DRIVING TEST MODE

    NOTE:
    1. Connect Hi-Scan (Pro) to the Data Link Connector (DLC).
    2. Select the DTC function of Hi-Scan (Pro).
    3. Start the engine and let the engine at idle for 35 seconds or more (*A).
    4. Drive the vehicle at 60 mph (55 ~ 65 mph) for 90 seconds or more (*B).
    5. Accelerate the vehicle with high acceleration (more than 70% of TPS) for 5 seconds and decelerate with closed throttle for 7 seconds more than five times(*C), then decelerate the vehicle to stop (*D).
    6. Let the engine at idle for 60 seconds or more (*E).
  3. LONG DRIVING TEST MODE

    LONG DRIVING TEST ITEMS

    P0128  Coolant Thermostat (Coolant Temp. below Thermostat Regulating Temp.) -10°C (14°F) < coolant temp. at Engine start < 74°C (165.2°F)
    P0196  Engine Oil Temp. Sensor Range / Performance Coolant temp. at Engine start < 40°C (104°F)
    NOTE:
    1. Connect Hi-Scan (Pro) to the Data Link Connector (DLC).
    2. Select the DTC function of Hi-Scan (Pro).
    3. Start the engine and let the engine at idle for 35 seconds or more (*A).
    4. Drive the vehicle at 60 mph (55 ~ 65 mph) for 10 minutes or more and decrease the vehicle speed until it stops (*B).
    5. Let the engine at idle for 60 seconds or more (*C).
    ITEMS WITH HI-SCAN (PRO)'S EVAP. LEAKAGE TEST

    1. Warm-up & connect the Hi-scan pro

    3. Conduct Leakage test using the Hi-scan pro

    P0451  Evap. Emission System - Pressure Sensor Range / Performance
    P0454  Evap. Emission System - Pressure Sensor Intermittent
    P0455  Evap. Emission System - Leak detected (large leak)
    P0456  Evap. Emission System - Leak detected (very small leak)
    NOTE:
    1. Connect Hi-Scan (Pro) to the Data Link Connector (DLC).
    2. Select "EVAP LEAKAGE TEST" mode of Hi-Scan (Pro).
    3. Check the same code reoccur.
