Entering LAN System Diagnostics
Turn ignition off. Connect Nissan CONSULT to Data Link Connector (DLC) for CONSULT, located in driver-side dash panel. See Fig 1 . Turn ignition on. Touch START on Nissan CONSULT screen menu.
NOTE:
If any of the following electrical loads is active, touching START will change the current operating mode as follows, until SELECT SYSTEM menu is displayed on CONSULT.
- With power window in AUTO operating mode, touching START on CONSULT screen menu will stop operation.
- With automatic drive positioner in AUTO operating mode, touching START on CONSULT screen menu will stop operation.
- With wiper operating in intermittent mode, touching START on CONSULT screen menu will cause irregular intermittent time.
- With rear window defogger on, touching START on CONSULT screen menu will shut it off.
- With interior light in dimming mode, touching START on CONSULT screen menu will cause light to go off.
- With step light on, touching START on CONSULT screen menu will cause it to flash.
To enter LAN system diagnostics, select LAN from the SELECT SYSTEM menu.
