All Remote Controller Functions Inoperative
- Check remote controller battery. See DIAGNOSTIC PROCEDURE NO. 1 under SYSTEM TESTS. If battery is defective, replace battery. If battery is okay, go to next step.
- Enter Identity (ID) code of a different or new remote controller. See PROGRAMMING REMOTE CONTROLLER . If new ID can be entered, go to next step. If ID code cannot be entered, perform DIAGNOSTIC PROCEDURE NO. 2 and DIAGNOSTIC PROCEDURE NO. 3 under SYSTEM TESTS.
- Program original remote controller. See PROGRAMMING REMOTE CONTROLLER . If original remote controller cannot be programmed, replace remote controller. If original remote controller can be programmed, retest system.
