Multi-Remote Control Systems: Description

The multi-remote control system controls operation of the power windows, power door locks, trunk lid release, panic alarm and hazard warning lights. The multi-remote control system is inactive if key is in the ignition switch. System can receive signals from the remote controller only when ignition switch is in the OFF position (key removed). Signals received from remote controller are sent via data lines A-1 and A-2 from multi-remote control module to the Body Control Module (BCM) and Local Control Units (LCUs) to activate the requested action.
