All Remote Controller Functions Inoperative

  1. Check remote controller battery. Perform diagnostic procedure No. 1. See Figure . If battery is defective, replace battery. If battery is okay, go to next step.
  2. Enter identity code of a different or new remote controller. See PROGRAMMING REMOTE CONTROLLER  . If new identity code can be entered, go to next step. If identity code cannot be entered, perform diagnostic procedures No. 2 and 3. See Figure -Figure .
  3. Program original remote controller. See PROGRAMMING REMOTE CONTROLLER  . If original remote controller cannot be programmed, replace remote controller. If original remote controller can be programmed, retest system.
