Clearing Codes Using Scan Tool

Turn ignition switch to LOCK position. Connect Nissan's CONSULT scan tool to Data Link Connector (DLC). Turn ignition switch to RUN position. Touch START, then IVMS on scan tool display. Touch IVMS COMM CHECK, then IVMS COMM DIAGNOSIS, and then touch START on scan tool display. To erase detected failures, touch ERASE on scan tool display. Repeat LAN COMMUNICATIONS CHECK  to ensure repairs are complete.
