Remove IACV-FICD solenoid. See COMPONENT LOCATIONS . Measure resistance between IACV-FICD solenoid terminals No. 1 and 5. See Fig 1. With IACV-FICD solenoid between 14°F (-10°C) and 122°F (50°C), resistance should be 162-278 ohms. With IACV-FICD solenoid between 122°F (50°C) and 212°F (100°C), resistance should be 205-327 ohms. Replace IACV-FICD, if resistance is not as specified.
