DTC P0600: A/T Control: Procedure

  1. Turn ignition off. Disconnect ECM and TCM harness connectors. See Figure and Fig 1 . Check continuity between the following:
    • Yellow/Red wire between ECM harness connector terminal No. 54 and TCM harness connector terminal No. 5.
    • Yellow/Green wire between ECM harness connector terminal No. 55 and TCM harness connector terminal No. 6.
    • Yellow/Black wire between ECM harness connector terminal No. 10 and TCM harness connector terminal No. 7.
    • Brown/White wire between ECM harness connector terminal No. 19 and TCM harness connector terminal No. 8.
    • Green/Yellow wire between ECM harness connector terminal No. 56 and TCM harness connector terminal No. 9.

    See Figure and Fig 2 . Also check circuits for short to ground and short to voltage. Repair as necessary and retest system. If circuits are okay, go to next step.

  2. No problem is indicated at this time. Problem may be intermittent. See INTERMITTENTS in TROUBLE SHOOTING - NO CODES article.
