Main Switch Operation Check

Passenger Side Operation 

1. CHECK POWER WINDOW MAIN SWITCH OUTPUT SIGNAL 

   With CONSULT-II 

   1. Turn ignition switch to ON position.
   2. Turn front power window main switch to ON (UP or DOWN).
   3. Check signal between front power window main switch terminals 8 and ground when power window is in open or close operation. (Use "SIMPLE OSCILLOSCOPE" in "SUB MODE" with CONSULT-II.)

   With COLSULT-II 

   1. Turn ignition switch to ON position.
   2. Turn front power window main switch to ON (UP or DOWN).
   3. Check signal between front power window main switch terminal 8 and ground when power window is in open or close operation.

   OK or NG 

   OK: GO TO 2.

   NG: Replace front power window main switch.

2. CHECK SIGNAL CIRCUIT 
   1. Check continuity between front power window switch terminal 8 and front power window switch RH terminal 11.

   Yes or No 

   Yes: INSPECTION END

   No: Repair harness or connectors.

Rear LH Side Window Operation 

1. CHECK POWER WINDOW MAIN SWITCH OUTPUT SIGNAL 
   1. Turn ignition switch to ON position.
   2. Check voltage between front power window main switch terminal 12 or 13 and ground when rear power window LH side is in open or close operation.

   OK or NG 

   OK: GO TO 2.

   NG: Replace front power window main switch.

2. CHECK SIGNAL CIRCUIT 
   1. Check continuity between front power window switch terminal 12 and rear power window switch LH terminal 4.
   2. Check continuity between front power window switch terminal 13 and rear power window switch LH terminal 3.

   Yes or No 

   Yes: INSPECTION END

   No: Repair harness or connectors.

Rear RH Side Window Operation 

1. CHECK POWER WINDOW MAIN SWITCH OUTPUT 
   1. Turn ignition switch to ON position.
   2. Check voltage between front power window main switch terminal 9 or 10 and ground when rear power window RH side is in open or close operation.

   OK or NG 

   OK: GO TO 2.

   NG: Replace front power window main switch.

2. CHECK SIGNAL CIRCUIT 
   1. Check continuity between front power window switch terminal 9 and rear power window switch RH terminal 3.
   2. Check continuity between front power window switch terminal 10 and rear power window switch RH terminal 4.

   Yes or No 

   Yes: INSPECTION END

   No: Repair harness or connectors.
