DTC P1210: Traction Control System (TCS) Signal Circuit: Procedure

  1. Turn ignition off. Disconnect TAC module and ECM harness connectors. See Figure and Figure . Check continuity of Red wire between TAC module harness connector terminal No. 7 and ECM harness connector terminal No. 73. See Figure and Figure . Also, check circuit for short to ground and short to voltage. Repair circuit as necessary and retest system. If circuit is okay, go to next step.
  2. Check TAC module function. See ANTI-LOCK article in BRAKES. Repair as necessary. If no TAC module problems are found, no problem is indicated at this time. Problem may be intermittent. See INTERMITTENTS in TROUBLE SHOOTING - NO CODES article.
