All Steering Column Functions Are Inoperative

If all steering system functions are inoperative during both manual and automatic operations, perform the following procedures in order listed:

• Perform self-diagnostics. See SELF-DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM  .
• Test tilt/telescopic motor power supply and ground circuits. See Figure .
• Test tilt sensor. See Figure .
• Test telescopic sensor. See Figure under SYSTEM TESTS.
