Inspection Procedure

  1. CHECKING SELF-DIAGNOSIS RESULT 

    Check self-diagnosis results.

    Self-diagnosis results
    LOW POWER VOLTAGE

    Is above displayed in self-diagnosis display item? 

    1. YES: GO TO 2.
    2. NO: INSPECTION END.
  2. CHECK CONNECTOR 
    1. Disconnect VDC/TCS/ABS control unit connector. Then reconnect it securely.
    2. Perform self-diagnosis.

    Do any self-diagnosis items appear? 

    1. YES: GO TO 3.
    2. NO: Poor connection. Repair or replace applicable connector.
  3. CHECK VDC/TCS/ABS CONTROL UNIT POWER AND GROUND CIRCUIT 
    1. Disconnect VDC/TCS/ABS control unit connector.
    2. Turn ignition switch ON or OFF and check voltage and continuity between VDC/TCS/ABS control unit harness connector E218 and body ground.

    OK or NG 

    1. OK: Check battery for loose terminal and low voltage malfunction. Repair if necessary.
    2. NG: Corresponding harness circuit malfunction. Repair circuit.
