Diagnosis Procedure

CHECK POWER WINDOW SWITCH OUTPUT SIGNAL

Close doors of driver side and passenger side.
Check signal between BCM harness connector and ground with oscilloscope when door lock and unlock switch (driver side and passenger side) is turned to "LOCK" or "UNLOCK".

Check that signals which are shown in the figure below can be detected during 10 seconds just after door lock and unlock switch (driver side and passenger side) is turned to "LOCK" or "UNLOCK".

Is the inspection result normal?

YES: GO TO 2.

NO: GO TO 3.

CHECK BCM OUTPUT SIGNAL

Check power window serial link ("PW REMOTO DOWN SET") in "ACTIVE TEST" mode with CONSULT-III.

ACTIVE TEST REFERENCE

Is the inspection result normal?

YES: GO TO 4.

NO: Replace BCM. Refer to REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .

CHECK POWER WINDOW SERIAL LINK CIRCUIT

Turn ignition switch OFF.
Disconnect BCM connector.
Disconnect power window main switch connector and front power window switch (passenger side) connector.

Check continuity between BCM connector and power window main switch connector.

Check continuity between BCM connector and ground.

Is the inspection result normal?

YES: Replace BCM. Refer to REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .

NO: Repair or replace harness.

CHECK INTERMITTENT INCIDENT
Refer to INTERMITTENT INCIDENT .
