On-Vehicle Inspection

- CHECK STOP LIGHT CONTROL RELAY (BRK NO. 1, BRK NO. 2)
- Remove the 2 stop light control relays from the engine room relay block.
- Measure the resistance according to the value (s) in the table below.
Standard resistance
TESTER CONNECTION SPECIFIED CONDITION TABLETester Connection Condition Specified Condition 3 - 4 When battery voltage is applied to terminals 1 and 2 10 kΩ or higher When battery voltage is not applied to terminals 1 and 2 Below 1 Ω 3 - 5 When battery voltage is not applied to terminals 1 and 2 10 kΩ or higher When battery voltage is applied to terminals 1 and 2 Below 1 Ω If the result is not as specified, replace the relay.
- Install the 2 stop light control relays.
