Component Inspection

  1. CHECK STOP LAMP SWITCH
    1. Turn the ignition switch OFF.
    2. Disconnect stop lamp switch connector.
    3. Check the continuity between stop lamp switch connector terminals.
    CONTINUITY REFERENCE

    Stop lamp switch Condition Continuity
    Terminal
    3 - 4 Release stop lamp switch
    When brake pedal is depressed.    		 Existed
    Push stop lamp switch
    When brake pedal is released.)    		 Not existed

    Is the inspection result normal? 

    YES: INSPECTION END

    NO: Replace stop lamp switch. Refer to "EXPLODED VIEW ".
