ID Registration With Transmitter Activation Tool

1. With the ignition switch in OFF position, connect CONSULT-III to the Data Link Connector (DLC).
2. Turn ignition switch to ON position.
3. Select "WORK SUPPORT" on "SELECT DIAG MODE" screen, and select "ID REGIST".
4. With the Transmitter Activation Tool (J-45295) pushed against the Front left tire air valve (transmitter), press the button for 5 seconds. See Fig 1.
   NOTE: On some models, a buzzer will indicate that an ID registration was not able to be completed.
5. Register the remaining IDs in this order: Front right, Rear right, Rear left. As the ID of each wheel is registered, the turn signal light will blink twice.
   NOTE: Be sure to register the IDs in the specified order, or the self-diagnostic results display will not function properly.
6. After completing all ID registrations, press "END" to complete the procedure.
