Inspection Procedure

- INSPECT FUSE (CARGO LP)
- Remove the CARGO LP fuse from the main body ECU.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard resistance

NG: REPLACE FUSE
OK: Go to next step
- PERFORM ACTIVE TEST BY TECHSTREAM (CARGO LIGHT)
- Operate the Techstream according to the steps on the display and select "Active Test".
NG: Go to step 3
OK: PROCEED TO NEXT CIRCUIT INSPECTION SHOWN IN PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE
- READ VALUE OF TECHSTREAM (CARGO LIGHT SWITCH)
- Operate the Techstream according to the display and select the "DATA LIST" or "Data List".

Main Body ECU

OFF: Cargo light switch OFF- OK: When cargo light switch operation is performed, the results are the same as above.
- Techstream
NG: Go to step 5
OK: Go to next step
- Operate the Techstream according to the display and select the "DATA LIST" or "Data List".
- CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (CARGO LIGHT - BATTERY AND BODY GROUND)
- Disconnect the P8 light connector.
- Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard voltage
CARGO LIGHT - BATTERY AND BODY GROUND VOLTAGETester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition P8-3 (DL) - Body ground Cargo light switch ON 11 to 14 V Cargo light switch DOOR, door is open Cargo light switch OFF Below 1 V - Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

NG: REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK: REPLACE MAIN BODY ECU
- INSPECT CARGO LIGHT SWITCH
- Remove the cargo light switch (see REMOVAL ).
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard resistance

NG: REPLACE CARGO LIGHT SWITCH (see REMOVAL )
OK: Go to next step
- CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (MAIN BODY ECU - BATTERY AND BODY GROUND)
- Disconnect the J3 and J4 ECU connectors.
- Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard voltage
MAIN BODY ECU - BATTERY AND BODY GROUND VOLTAGETester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition J4-14 (CGLP) -Body ground Cargo light switch ON or DOOR 11 to 14 V Cargo light switch OFF Below 1 V - Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
