DTC Check/Clear

CHECK FOR IMMOBILIZER DTC
1. Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
2. Turn the ignition switch ON.
3. Turn the tester ON.
4. Enter the following menus:
  Techstream - Select: Body Electrical / IMMOBILIZER / Trouble Codes.
5. Check DTCs.
  HINT:
  - When using Techstream with the ignition switch OFF to troubleshoot: Connect the Techstream to the vehicle, and turn the front door courtesy light switch LH on and off at 1.5 second intervals until communication between the tester and vehicle begins.
  - Refer to the Techstream operator's manual for further details.
CHECK FOR ECM DTC
1. Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
2. Turn the ignition switch ON.
3. Turn the tester ON.
4. Enter the following menus:
  Techstream - Select: Powertrain / Engine and ECT / Trouble Codes.
5. Check DTCs.
CLEAR FOR IMMOBILIZER DTC
1. Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
2. Turn the ignition switch ON.
3. Turn the tester ON.
4. Enter the following menus:
  Techstream - Select: Body Electrical / Immobilizer / Trouble Codes.
5. Clear the DTCs.
  HINT:
  - When using Techstream with the ignition switch OFF to troubleshoot: Connect the Techstream to the vehicle, and turn the front door courtesy light switch LH on and off at 1.5 second intervals until communication between the tester and vehicle begins.

CLEAR FOR ECM DTC
