Terminals Of Ecu

  1. CHECK POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MASTER SWITCH ASSEMBLY

    1. Disconnect the N2 master switch connector.
    2. Measure the resistance and voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

      for Regular Cab: 

      REGULAR CAB ECU CONNECTOR TERMINALS AND SPECIFIED CONDITION

      Terminal No. (Symbols) Wiring Color Terminal Description Condition Specified Condition
      N2-15 (B) - Body ground P - Body ground Ignition power supply Ignition switch OFF Below 1 V
      N2-15 (B) - Body ground P - Body ground Ignition power supply Ignition switch ON 11 to 14 V
      N2-7 (E) - Body ground W-B - Body ground Ground Always Below 1 Ω

      for Double Cab: 

      DOUBLE CAB ECU CONNECTOR TERMINALS AND SPECIFIED CONDITION

      N2-6 (B) - Body ground P - Body ground Ignition power supply Ignition switch OFF Below 1 V
      N2-6 (B) - Body ground P - Body ground Ignition power supply Ignition switch ON 11 to 14 V
      N2-1 (E) - Body ground W-B - Body ground Ground Always Below 1 Ω

      for CrewMax: 

      CREWMAX ECU CONNECTOR TERMINALS AND SPECIFIED CONDITION

      Terminal No. (Symbols) Wiring Color Terminal Description Condition Specified Condition
      N2-6 (B) - Body ground P - Body ground Ignition power supply Ignition switch OFF Below 1 V
      N2-6 (B) - Body ground P - Body ground Ignition power supply Ignition switch ON 11 to 14 V
      N2-1 (E) - Body ground W-B - Body ground Ground Always Below 1 Ω

      If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction on the wire harness side.

    3. Reconnect the N2 master switch connector.
    4. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

      for Regular Cab:

      If the result is not as specified, the master switch may be malfunctioning.

  2. CHECK MAIN BODY ECU (DRIVER SIDE JUNCTION BLOCK)

    1. Disconnect the J3, J4, DA and DD ECU connectors.
    2. Measure the voltage and resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
      MAIN BODY ECU (DRIVER SIDE JUNCTION BLOCK)

      DA-1 (ACC) - Body ground B - Body ground ACC power supply Ignition switch OFF Below 1 Ω
      Ignition switch ACC 11 to 14 V
      DA-1 (IG) - Body ground B - Body ground IG power supply Ignition switch OFF Below 1 Ω
      Ignition switch ON 11 to 14 V
      DD-62 (GND1) - Body ground W-B - Body ground Body ground Always Below 1 Ω
      DD-62 (GND2) - Body ground W-B - Body ground Body ground Always Below 1 Ω
      J4-24 (DCTY) - Body ground BR - Body ground Front door courtesy light switch LH signal Front door LH open Below 1 Ω
      Front door LH closed 10 kΩ or higher
      J3-21 (PCTY) - Body ground O - Body ground Front door courtesy light switch RH signal Front door RH open Below 1 Ω
      Front door RH closed 10 kΩ or higher

      If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction on the wire harness side.
