Diagnosis Procedure

- CHECK STEERING SWITCH SIGNAL GND CIRCUIT
- Disconnect AV control unit connector and spiral cable connector.
- Check continuity between AV control unit harness connector and spiral cable harness connector.TERMINALS CONTINUITY SPECIFICATION
AV control unit Spiral cable Continuity Connector Terminal Connector Terminal M81 15 M36 33 Existed - Connect AV control unit connector.
Is the inspection result normal?
YES: GO TO 2.
NO: Repair harness or connector.
- CHECK SPIRAL CABLE
Check spiral cable.
Is the inspection result normal?
YES: GO TO 3.
NO: Replace spiral cable.
- CHECK GROUND CIRCUIT
- Connect AV control unit connector.
- Check continuity between AV control unit harness connector and ground.TERMINALS CONTINUITY SPECIFICATION
AV control unit Ground Continuity Connector Terminal M81 15 Not existed
Is the inspection result normal?
YES: GO TO 4.
NO: Replace AV control unit.
- CHECK STEERING SWITCH
- Turn ignition switch OFF.
- Check steering switch. Refer to COMPONENT INSPECTION .
Is the inspection result normal?
YES: INSPECTION END
NO: Replace steering switch.
