Condition Of Searching

If all the following conditions are satisfied, BCM searches for Intelligent Key by using outside key antenna (front outside handle LH/RH and back door). BCM has timer to search for 14 days (every 0.3 seconds). If the engine is started, the timer is reset.

OPERATING FUNCTION

Function	Condition
Welcome light function	System setting is active. All doors are closed. Ignition position is OFF. There is no Intelligent Key inside vehicle. Shift position is the P position. All doors are closed and locked (or auto lock timer is running).
