Diagnosis Procedure

CHECK CONTINUITY REQUEST SIGNAL CIRCUIT

Turn ignition switch OFF.
Disconnect satellite radio tuner connector and audio unit connector.

Check continuity between satellite radio tuner harness connector and audio unit harness connector.

Check continuity between satellite radio tuner harness connector and ground.

Is inspection result OK?

YES: GO TO 2.

NO: Repair harness or connector.

CHECK AUDIO UNIT

Connect audio unit connector.
Turn ignition switch ON.
Check voltage between audio unit harness connector and ground.

Is inspection result OK?

YES: GO TO 3.

NO: Replace audio unit. Refer to "REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION ".

CHECK CONTINUITY REQUEST SIGNAL

Turn ignition switch OFF.
Connect satellite radio tuner connector.
Turn ignition switch ON.
Check signal between satellite radio tuner harness connector and ground.

Is inspection result OK?

YES: INSPECTION END

NO: Replace satellite radio tuner. Refer to "REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION ".
