Inspection Procedure

- INSPECT FUSE (AMP, ACC)
- Disconnect the AMP fuse from the engine room junction block.
- Disconnect the ACC fuse from the main body ECU.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard resistance
TESTER CONNECTION SPECIFIED CONDITIONTester Connection Condition Specified Condition AMP fuse Always Below 1 Ω ACC fuse
NG: REPLACE FUSE
OK: Go to next step.
- CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (AMPLIFIER - BATTERY AND BODY GROUND)
- Disconnect the K16, K15 and K17 amplifier connectors.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard resistance
TESTER CONNECTION SPECIFIED CONDITIONTester Connection Condition Specified Condition K17-6 (GND) - Body ground Always Below 1 Ω K17-7 (GND2) - Body ground - Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard voltage
TESTER CONNECTION SPECIFIED CONDITIONTester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition K16-1 (+B) - K17-6 (GND) Always 11 to 14 V K16-5 (+B2) - K17-6 (GND) K15-12 (ACC) - K17-6 (GND) Ignition switch ACC
NG: REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
