Direct Clutch: Disassembly

  1. Remove snap rings from direct clutch drum using a flat-bladed screwdriver.
    CAUTION:
    • Be careful not to scratch direct clutch drum and direct clutch retaining plate.
    • Be careful not to damage snap ring.
  2. Remove direct clutch dish plate, direct clutch drive plates, direct clutch driven plates, and direct clutch retaining plate from direct clutch drum.
