Component Inspection

1. Turn ignition switch OFF.
2. Disconnect electric throttle control actuator harness connector.
3. Check resistance between electric throttle control actuator terminals as follows:

   Electric throttle control actuator		Resistance
   Bank	Terminals
   1	1 and 2	Approx. 1 - 15 Ω [at 25°C (77°F)]
   2	5 and 6

   Is the inspection result normal? 

   YES: INSPECTION END

   NO: GO TO 2.

Replace malfunctioning electric throttle control actuator. Refer to "REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION ".
