Diagnosis Procedure

- CHECK SECURITY INDICATOR LAMP POWER SUPPLY CIRCUIT
- Turn ignition switch OFF.
- Disconnect security indicator lamp connector.
- Measure voltage between security indicator lamp harness connector and ground.VOLTAGE REFERENCE CHART
(+) (-) Voltage (V) (Approx.) Security indicator lamp Connector Terminal M100 1 Ground Battery voltage Is the inspection result normal?
YES: GO TO 2.
NO-1: Verify 10A fuse [No. 9, located in the fuse block (J/B)].
NO-2: Test harness for open or short between security indicator lamp and fuse.
- CHECK SECURITY INDICATOR LAMP SIGNAL
- Connect security indicator lamp connector.
- Disconnect BCM connector.
- Measure voltage between BCM harness connector and ground.VOLTAGE REFERENCE CHART
(+) (-) Voltage (V) (Approx.) BCM Connector Terminal M123 141 Ground Battery voltage Is the inspection result normal?
YES: Replace BCM. Refer to , "REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION ".
NO: GO TO 3.
- CHECK SECURITY INDICATOR LAMP SIGNAL CIRCUIT
- Disconnect security indicator lamp connector.
- Measure continuity between security indicator lamp harness connector and BCM harness connector.CONTINUITY REFERENCE CHART
Security indicator lamp BCM Continuity Connector Terminal Connector Terminal M100 2 M123 141 Existed - Measure continuity between security indicator lamp harness connector and ground.CONTINUITY REFERENCE CHART
Security indicator lamp Ground Continuity Connector Terminal M100 2 Not existed Is the inspection result normal?
YES: Replace security indicator lamp. Refer to "REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION ".
NO: Repair or replace harness.
