DOOR LOCK AND UNLOCK SWITCH : Diagnosis Procedure

CHECK DTC OF SOFT TOP CONTROL UNIT
Verify DTC in "Self Diagnostic Result" mode of "CONVERTIBLE ROOF" using CONSULT.

Is DTC detected?

YES: Perform the trouble diagnosis regarding to the detected DTC. Refer to , "DTC INDEX ".

NO: GO TO 2.
CHECK DOOR LOCK FUNCTION
Lock/unlock door using door lock and unlock switches (Driver side and passenger side).

Refer to , "SYSTEM DESCRIPTION ".

Is the inspection result normal?

YES: GO TO 3.

NO: Verify power door lock system. Refer to , "ALL DOOR : DIAGNOSIS PROCEDURE ".
CHECK DOOR SWITCH
Verify door switch circuit.

Refer to , "COMPONENT FUNCTION CHECK ".

Is the inspection result normal?

YES: GO TO 4.

NO: Repair or replace malfunctioning parts.
CHECK TRUNK ROOM LAMP SWITCH
Verify trunk room lamp switch circuit.

Refer to , "COMPONENT FUNCTION CHECK ".

Is the inspection result normal?

YES: GO TO 5.

NO: Repair or replace malfunctioning parts.
CONFIRM THE OPERATION
Confirm the operation again.

Is the result normal?

YES: Verify intermittent incident. Refer to , "INTERMITTENT INCIDENT ".

NO: GO TO 1.
