Diagnosis Procedure

- CHECK DISPLAY UNIT POWER SUPPLY AND GROUND CIRCUIT
Check display unit power supply and ground circuit. Refer to "DISPLAY UNIT : DIAGNOSIS PROCEDURE ".
Is the inspection result normal?
YES: GO TO 2.
NO: Repair malfunctioning parts.
- CHECK CONTINUITY COMMUNICATION CIRCUIT
- Turn ignition switch OFF.
- Disconnect display unit connector and AV control unit connector.
- Check continuity between display unit harness connector and AV control unit harness connector.CONTINUITY REFERENCE CHART

Display unit Ground Continuity Connector Terminals M195 9 Not existed 10 Is the inspection result normal?
YES: GO TO 3.
NO: Repair harness or connector.
- CHECK COMMUNICATION SIGNAL
- Connect display unit connector and AV control unit connector.
- Turn ignition switch ON.
- Check signal between display unit harness connector and ground.SIGNAL REFERENCE CHART
(+) (-) Condition Reference value Display unit Connector Terminal M195 9 Ground When adjusting display brightness. Is the inspection result normal?
YES: GO TO 4.
NO: Replace AV control unit. Refer to "EXPLODED VIEW ".
- CHECK COMMUNICATION SIGNAL
Check signal between display unit harness connector and ground.

YES: INSPECTION END
NO: Replace display unit. Refer to "EXPLODED VIEW ".
