Removal and Installation: Removal

CAUTION:
- Before replacing AV control unit, perform "READ CONFIGURATION" to save or print current vehicle specification. For details, refer to "WORK PROCEDURE ".
- Remove 12V battery terminal and AV control unit after a lapse of 30 seconds or more after turning the ignition switch OFF.
NOTE:
After the ignition switch is turned OFF, the AV control unit continues operating for approximately 30 seconds. Therefore, data corruption may occur if 12V battery voltage is cut off within 30 seconds.
- Remove cluster lid C. Refer to , "EXPLODED VIEW ".
- Remove AV control unit with an A/C auto amp. as a single unit from the vehicle.
- Remove bracket screws, and then remove AV control unit.
