Component Inspection

CHECK FUEL PUMP

Turn ignition switch OFF.
Disconnect "fuel level sensor unit and fuel pump (main)" harness connector. Refer to "COMPONENT PARTS LOCATION ".

Check resistance between "fuel level sensor unit and fuel pump" terminals as follows:

Terminals	Resistance
1 and 3	0.2 - 5.0 Ω [at 25°C (77°F)]

Is the inspection result normal?

YES: INSPECTION END

NO: Replace "fuel level sensor unit and fuel pump". Refer to "REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION ".
