Diagnosis Procedure
- CHECK POWER POSITION
Check if ignition switch position is changing or not.
Does ignition switch position change?
YES: Go to 3.
NO: Go to 2.
- CHECK PUSH-BUTTON IGNITION SWITCH
Check push-button ignition switch.
Refer to "COMPONENT FUNCTION CHECK ".
Is the inspection result normal?
YES: Check BCM for DTC. Refer to "DTC INDEX ".
NO: Repair or replace the malfunctioning parts.
- CHECK DOOR SWITCH
Check door switch.
Refer to "COMPONENT FUNCTION CHECK " (Coupe models) or "COMPONENT FUNCTION CHECK " (Roadster models).
Is the inspection result normal?
YES: Go to 4.
NO: Repair or replace the malfunctioning parts.
- CHECK KEY SLOT
Check key slot.
Refer to "COMPONENT FUNCTION CHECK ".
Is the inspection result normal?
YES: Go to 5.
NO: Repair or replace the malfunctioning parts.
- CHECK COMBINATION METER DISPLAY
Check combination meter display.
Refer to "COMPONENT FUNCTION CHECK " (Coupe models) or "COMPONENT FUNCTION CHECK " (Roadster models).
Is the inspection result normal?
YES: Go to 6.
NO: Repair or replace the malfunctioning parts.
- CHECK KEY SLOT INDICATOR
Check key slot indicator.
Refer to "COMPONENT FUNCTION CHECK ".
Is the inspection result normal?
YES: Go to 7.
NO: Repair or replace the malfunctioning parts.
- CONFIRM THE OPERATION
Confirm the operation again.
Is the result normal?
YES: Check intermittent incident. Refer to "INTERMITTENT INCIDENT ".
NO: Go to 1.
