Diagnosis Procedure

- CHECK STEERING SWITCH SIGNAL A CIRCUIT
- Turn ignition switch OFF.
- Disconnect audio unit connector and spiral cable connector.
- Check continuity between audio unit harness connector and spiral cable harness connector.
CONTINUITY SPECIFICATIONAudio unit Spiral cable Continuity Connector Terminal Connector Terminal M81 15 M36 33 Existed Is the inspection result normal?
YES: Go to 2.
NO: Repair harness or connector.
- CHECK SPIRAL CABLE
Check spiral cable.
Is the inspection result normal?
YES: Go to 3.
NO: Replace spiral cable. Refer to "REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION ".
- CHECK GROUND CIRCUIT
- Connect audio unit connector and spiral cable connector.
- Turn ignition switch ON.
- Check continuity between audio unit harness connector.
CONTINUITY SPECIFICATIONAudio unit Ground Continuity Connector Terminal M81 15 Existed Is the inspection result normal?
YES: Go to 4.
NO: Replace audio unit. Refer to "REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION ".
- CHECK STEERING SWITCH
Check steering switch. Refer to "COMPONENT INSPECTION ".
Is the inspection result normal?
YES: INSPECTION END
NO: Replace steering switch. Refer to "REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION ".
