DTC Detection Logic

DTC Trouble diagnosis name DTC is detected if... Possible cause
P0705 Transmission Range Sensor A Circuit (PRNDL Input) The TCM detects an ON/OFF combination pattern other than that of the transmission range switches 1, 2, 3 and 4. (For ON/OFF combination patterns of transmission range switches, refer to "DESCRIPTION ".)
  • Harness or connectors (Transmission range switches 1, 2, 3, 4 and TCM circuit is open or shorted.)
  • Transmission range switches 1, 2, 3 and 4
