INTELLIGENT KEY: Diagnosis Procedure

- CHECK INTELLIGENT KEY SYSTEM (REMOTE KEYLESS ENTRY FUNCTION)
Lock or unlock doors using Intelligent Key.
Is the inspection result normal?
YES: GO TO 2.
NO: Check Intelligent Key system (remote keyless entry function). Refer to "DIAGNOSIS PROCEDURE ".
- CHECK HOOD SWITCH
Check hood switch circuit.
Refer to "COMPONENT FUNCTION CHECK ".
Is the inspection result normal?
YES: GO TO 3.
NO: Repair or replace malfunctioning parts. Refer to "DIAGNOSIS PROCEDURE ".
- CHECK TRUNK LID OPEN/CLOSE SIGNAL
Check trunk lid open/close signal circuit.
Refer to "COMPONENT FUNCTION CHECK ".
Is the inspection result normal?
YES: GO TO 4.
NO: Repair or replace malfunctioning parts.
- CONFIRM THE OPERATION
Confirm the operation again.
Is the result normal?
YES: Check intermittent incident. Refer to "INTERMITTENT INCIDENT ".
NO: GO TO 1.
