ACTIVE NOISE CONTROL UNIT: Diagnosis Procedure

- CHECK FUSE
Check for blown fuses.
Power source Fuse No. Battery 34 Ignition switch ACC or ON 19 Is the inspection result normal?
YES: GO TO 2.
NO: Be sure to eliminate cause of malfunction before installing new fuse.
- CHECK POWER SUPPLY CIRCUIT
Check voltage between active noise control unit harness connector and ground.
Signal name (+) (-) Ignition switch position Voltage (Approx.) Active noise control unit Connector Terminal Battery power supply B57 2 Ground OFF Battery voltage ACC power supply B58 36 ACC Is the inspection result normal?
YES: GO TO 3.
NO: Check harness between active noise control unit and fuse.
- CHECK GROUND CIRCUIT
- Turn ignition switch OFF.
- Disconnect active noise control unit connector.
- Check continuity between active noise control unit harness connector and ground.
Active noise control unit Ground Continuity Connector Terminal B57 1 Existed Is the inspection result normal?
YES: INSPECTION END
NO: Repair harness or connector.
