ID Registration With Transmitter Activation Tool

  1. With the ignition switch in OFF position, connect CONSULT-III to the Data Link Connector (DLC).
  2. Turn ignition switch to ON position.
  3. Display the "WORK SUPPORT" screen for "AIR PRESSURE MONITOR" and select "ID REGIST".
  4. With the Transmitter Activation Tool (J-45295) pushed against the Left front tire air valve (tire pressure sensor), press the button for 5 seconds. See Fig 1. Go to next step.
  5. Repeat the procedure for the remaining tires in the specified order: Right front, Right rear, Left rear. When ID registration of each wheel has been completed, the turn signal light flashes twice.
  6. After completing all ID registrations, press "END" to complete the procedure, and check that ID registration for all wheels is completed.
